First draft: July 2016 – about Jake Norvell’s termination from the Cinema Snob website.
I believe Brad acted out of line. Okay, I don’t – people can betray you on a moment’s notice, but Team Snob is known for being this sort of free-love organization (at least according to the Cinema Snob Sucks, who either can be a peeved conservative Christian or a peeved Kiwi Farms user) that everybody knows each other carnally. Sharing drinks and food is the least of their worries. Jake fits in well with the likes of Brian Irving (absurdly racist at times), Jerrid Foiles (very off-color), and Brad himself (nothing is off-limits for him). And to see Jake get kicked off the site was devastating. Even after Brad’s PM was leaked – the “yeah, Jake fucked me over and I have no plans to reconcile” thing – I still felt sad for Jake. But when Brad reconciled with Jerrid full-time and let him co-host the Midnight Screenings of Warcraft: The Beginning, I felt upset. I felt I needed to write this. It also helped that I wanted to get a legal injunction by Brad Jones.
