This year I made a friend But we had to cut it off I liked her way too much But now I can't stand her This year I made a friend But we had to cut it off She liked me way too much But I just couldn't stand her And sometimes I wish I could go back to the time before All these icky sticky gooey adult feelings Icky sticky gooey adult feelings Icky sticky gooey adult feelings Before this year I never felt so strongly before Happiness so intense Loneliness so pure Daydreams distract you From anxiety's spiral But escapism's breath Gets so toxic And I think we all sometimes wish We could go back to the time before All these icky sticky gooey adult feelings Icky sticky gooey adult feelings Icky sticky gooey adult feelings

Empty cages, driving home Three down, dozens more to go Pretty pictures, sometimes more appealing But they'll never compare to viscera Viscera Que sera Waiting for Godot, we all seem to be At least the meantime is entertaining Thinking in abstracts will make the wait seem less long But quicker still it would pass with viscera Viscera Que sera Every day ships sail out to sea Some sink before they can reach the beach Crew and passengers, alike Some never greet undying shores

I was running around like a fool Thinking everything was going so good Then the guillotine dropped, my head fell off Then you ran over just to rub it in Fuck off, Liam I don't need your sympathy After your berating me Fuck off with your company Fuck off, Liam I don't need your sympathy After your berating me Fuck off with your company What in the world were you trying to prove That you're some strong, protective dude I wonder what she told you about me I hope she's happier off without me Fuck off, Liam I don't need your sympathy After your berating me Fuck off with your company Add insult to injury You know nothing about me You can fuck off, you can fuck off You can fuck off

Be That Way 04:06
It can be easy to get jaded When without reciprocation It can be easy to decide There's not a person for you alive It can be easy to feel slighted Mixed signals made you thought you were invited And easier still When you get no attention at all But the easy way's for narrow-minded Self-absorbed, total fucking losers and I I don't wanna be that way I don't wanna be that way No way It can be easy to observe The other boys get girls they don't deserve If you're an arrogant, sexist prick And think of women as inhuman objects The easy way's for narrow-minded Self-absorbed, total fucking losers and I I don't wanna be that way I don't wanna be that way No way I'm never gonna be that way I'm never gonna be that way No way I'm never gonna think that way I'm never gonna think that way No way I'm never gonna be that way I'm never gonna be that way No way And the easy way's for narrow-minded Self-absorbed, total fucking losers and I I'm never gonna be that way I'm never gonna be that way No way

Hair is a protein filament that Grows from follicles in your skin Mammals have hair almost always I have hair almost everywhere Hair on my legs and hair on my chest Hair on my head and hair on my crotch Hair can protect and hair can attract Hair can be styled, trimmed or waxed off Hair is everywhere What a world we'd have without hair Hair can be soft and beautiful too Be careful what hair can do to you Hair can trap you get it caught in a blender The blender cuts your head down to your eyes Just cause your gone don't trust the myth They say that hair grows even after you've died Some grow it long some cut it short Some change it up some keep it the same Hair is a way to express yourself You look literally like nobody else Hair is everywhere What a world we would have without hair Hair can be soft and beautiful too Just be careful what hair can do to you The hair of the man or woman you love Is a beautiful thing from above Some prefer the shaved head look But there's nothing that will ever beat hair in my book

Well he will never stand for treason Brutal judges in his court Everyone to equal standards One must try to guard their heart How can anyone respect you Until you respect yourself Not all loves will last forever Paint my head off Paint it clean off Pain my head off Infatuation happens often Long-lived loves are built on trust When that trust is violated The foundation's chipped to dust If you don't stand up for yourself Others will step on top of you These 'others' not fit for lovers Paint my head off Paint it clean off Pain my head off

Butterflies 03:27
So you found a girl that you like You think that she looks quite nice That's all you think about in fact With her you've got zero tact But you say to yourself "I love her" But here's some advice You shouldn't use that word You shouldn't use that word Stop throwing that word around You shouldn't use that word You shouldn't use that word Stop throwing that word around You fell for her but not in love Don't tell yourself that lie You feel your love for her is true but Slow down it's just butterflies You try to charm her Well how you did is irrelevant She may even feel the same But then you put yourself to shame You say to her "I love you" But I got something to say You shouldn't use that word You shouldn't use that word Stop throwing that word around You fell for her but not in love Don't tell yourself that lie You feel your love for her was true but Slow down it's just butterflies If I don't know what love is Then you sure as hell don't I've done exactly what you're doing So I should know Don't tell yourself that lie Don't tell yourself that lie Don't tell yourself that lie Don't tell yourself that lie Don't tell yourself that lie Don't tell yourself that lie

Waterloo Park, you can see in the dark But there aint no finding your way back home yeah Waterloo Park; it's a shot in the dark That got you to where you are now: Waterloo Park Look out the window, Iggy's out there His china girl is driving him crazy You can see it in the whites of his eyes Plans for everyone - Waterloo Park yeah Take a ride down the slide that swirls in your mind Down to the depths of your negative thoughts It never ends unless you get off You have to make the choice to get yourself off it Waterloo Park just comes with age Then you run back to the sensible way But some people, they never leave Never stop riding in Waterloo Park yeah Waterloo Park, I went there once But now I am home; I served my time there Glad I went, glad it's over I hope I never go back to Waterloo Park yeah But maybe no one can escape The god damned gates of Waterloo Park yeah

(based on William Faulkner's "Absalom Absalom") Attracted to a man he didn't know But he might've known in a different age Infatuated, he brought him home His sister felt the same, and they were engaged Siblings, counterparts, competed through the years In a silent way, they were so the same Accosted by the father, "Charles has a son, negro-born." Henry was so torn So he took his companion out to war For just how long he wasn't sure The wedding was postponed, Judith left all home alone Two brothers fighting against the north Four years pass, "It's time enough." Reads the letter sent to Sutpen's Hundred The boys return home, a gunshot rings And Henry runs up the stairs "Now you can't marry him." "Why can't I marry him?" "Because he's dead." "Dead?" "Yes. I killed him." Cousin Rosa helps to grow The food for three women alone Then father Thomas returns home So goes "The Death of Charles Bon"

So what can I say about this album? Every time I make a record I think it's my best yet. Sometimes I'm right, other times I'm dead wrong. I really like this album a lot. I think it's my most mature work yet in virtually all aspects. And the songs are fucking fun - which is odd because it's kind of a downer of an album.
I'd like to thank everyone, yourself included. This album wouldn't have been the same without you.
